Aunt SuSu & I hurried all morning to get both kids out the door, but even with her help we were running late. (Most likely because I changed Larsen's outfit 2-3 times...I had outfits picked out for brother & sister to be cute and color coordinating. But then decided it was too cool outside and her cardigan-sweaters were too big. So I scrambled to find just the right option before giving up and just throwing clothes on both kids!)
Larsen hung out in the stroller watching the kids and festivities...
Anders searching for eggs (not hard to find them, the grassy area was COVERED)...
Smiling for the picture in exchange for another piece of candy...
Most of his eggs had quarters and money in them (he even got a dollar bill). So I joined the search to help Anders find eggs that had candy in them. Although I was tempted to say "forget candy, find us more money!"...
Let's see...
More MONEY!
The church had a petting zoo with a variety of birds, farm animals & reptiles...this year Anders was MUCH more interested in seeing and touching the animals. His friend Tripp joined us for the egg hunt and he is sitting next to him in these pictures.
Waiting for the next animal to come around...
Anders got to hold a baby chick...
So he thought he should get to hold the baby bunnies too!
He touched the lizard and the snake (this picture shows the lizard tail that he touched, actually grabbed)...
Soft baby duckling...
It was a VERY fun, busy morning. Just think, next year Larsen will be running around hunting for Easter eggs too!
