Work & Play

This week Todd has been working hard on our master closet - ripping out the wire shelving & putting in a pocket door. Then when we get back from Thanksgiving, he will put in the new closet stuff from IKEA - which will hopefully be more efficient with the space. Anders helped me with filling in the holes in the drywall...
(note the shirt that Anders is wearing says"my Dad can fix anything")

Playing in the activity center that used to be Haley's, Anders likes it a lot...

Anders in a Pumpkin

So we have had this pumpkin for weeks and FINALLY carved it today and had a little photo shoot with Anders...

This one made us SO proud...

And here we realized the photo shoot was over...

Anders is THREE Months old

Anders turned 3 months old on Saturday and so we gave him a bath for his birthday (he loves bath time & has started splashing water everywhere)...

And he sat in his Bumbo for the first time & did great...

Swimming for the first time!

Phoenix had much cooler temperatures than normal while we were there but it warmed up enough on Saturday for us to go swimming. Anders enjoyed it -- he was a little sleepy so he wasn't too active or smiley but just hung out it the water. We practiced kicking and floating on his back and I know he will LOVE swimming this summer :)

Here he is all tuckered out from swimming...

Halloween 2009

We haven't been home for Halloween for three years because the RZIM event is always that weekend. So this year we were in Phoenix for Halloween and it was too warm for Anders to wear his fleece pumpkin outfit but luckily his Grandma gave him a pumpkin onesie...

Our trip to Phoenix

Todd was working again at the Founders Weekend for Ravi Zacharius International Ministries last weekend and Anders & I decided to go along. The event was in Phoenix so it was our first experience flying and staying in a hotel with Anders. We planned to get to the airport early to have plenty of time to get our luggage checked in and get through security, but instead we over slept and praise GOD Anders woke me up 20 minutes after we had planned to be out the door. But we made our flight and Anders did such a great job. There were about 5-6 babies on the flight all around us and all of them did really well. The decent was rough and I almost threw up but Anders did great!

Here's Anders in his airplane onesie getting ready for take off...

Then we got to the hotel and I swear Anders loved the bed (don't worry he didn't sleep in it at night) but here he is so happy and stretching out...

The lobby had these beautiful pumpkins that we just had to pose Anders with...

Sip & See in Georgia

Last weekend Katie & Mom threw us a "Sip & See" in Georgia and my friends & their parents got to come meet Anders. It was SO great getting to see everyone - especially fun to see Ashley's baby girl & Audrey's two children. It is SO crazy to see us all as mothers!

Here is Anders with his Aunt Katie & Uncle Chip...

Anders was sound asleep the first half of the party, here he is being held by Ashley...

And by Maggie...

By Haley...
