Making friends

This afternoon we went to visit Elisa & Tripp. Tripp was born two weeks after Anders. And the two of them are going to be great friends. They soon will be spending a couple of days a week together while we watch each others babies when we both go back work part time. It was quite hard to get both baby boys to look at the camera but still they are so cute (especially since both are sporting onesies that show how much they loves their mommies)...
Then we went over to Jenn's house (Anders loves Jenn) and he met Truman for the first time. Tru wanted to give him kisses and was very interested in Anders.

Anders Week 7

Anders is smiling more & more and he loves laying on his changing pad...

Anders' Grandma came to visit for the weekend and had lots of holding & snuggling time.

End of Week 6 (posting little late)

Okay so here are some pictures from last week...

Todd takes Anders up to his nursery often to read books. He is wide awake and listening during this picture, but soon feel asleep and did not make it through the story.

Anders is 6 weeks old

Anders turned 6 weeks old on Friday.  That afternoon I was getting ready to give him a bath & had to put him down to run the water and get set up, he was just so happy sitting in his bouncer half naked...

Anders is 5 weeks old tomorrow!

I can not believe that Anders is going to be 5 weeks old tomorrow -- he is changing so much each week.  Today he smiled at me for the first time which was wonderful!

He turned one month old on Monday and had a doctors appointment on Tuesday afternoon -- he weighed 10 pounds 4 ounces and was 22 & 3/4 inches long.  The doctor said that Anders was the healthiest baby she has seen in a long time and that I should be very proud.  She said he is perfect and we agree!

This week has been the first time that Anders & I have been on our own -- we've had just two days now and so far we've done really well!  We even took our first trip to the grocery store this evening and Anders did great (he just starred the whole time at his mobile toys hanging from the car seat handle).  He is sleeping better & for longer windows of time so that has made a huge difference for me and I am thankful for the additional sleep.

These are pictures that my friend Angela took of him this week...
