Happy 4th of July!

Big brother is not in these pictures, because he was taking a 4 hour nap & recovering from a fever virus.  Anders hasn't been sick much, but EVERY time has been on a major holiday - his 1st Christmas, last Thanksgiving & now the 4th of July!

Larsen Photo Shoot - Scene/Outfit #3

Last scene/outfit from the photo shoot.  Larsen is wearing her Easter dress that Anna & Mark Bright gave her -- it is beautiful, and I don't want her to ever grow out of it!  Both Dad and I were taking pictures with our cameras, and Mom was juggling watching/chasing Anders and trying to make Larsen smile.  Larsen enjoyed people watching as the walkers, runners and bikers went by. But we finally got some smiles out of her after Grammie and Anders started acting goofy and making crazy noises...

This setting & outfit was not as successful.   The dress is ADORABLE and very special, because it was my mother's handmade dress.  But we decided it was unflattering and made Larsen look wide.  I will try it on her again once she is a little bigger & walking around.  

But I included these for now...

On Tuesday night, my Mom and Dad and I took the kids to the park to take pictures of Larsen.  It was the only day of the week that was not forcasted for temperatures in the 90-100's and it turned into a beautiful evening.  This is setting/outfit #ONE, more to come... 

Funny boy...

The other evening Anders slipped outside to play before bedtime.  Before I could say any different, he had pulled off his shorts and climbed INTO the water table.  All I could do is laugh and let him play (and take pictures)...

Eating oatmeal

Larsen refuses to be fed, and ONLY wants to feed herself.  She even turned down ice cream the other night, and I am pretty sure it was only because I was offering it to her in a spoon.  

While down at Grammie & Papa's house, I tried to give her oatmeal.  After failing to get her to open her mouth and eat,  Mom suggested I let her feed herself.  Funny how she suggested the messy-messy idea but wasn't around for clean-up time... 

 You can't really see in the photo what a MESS she was, just trust me!
