Trick Or Treating

Anders enjoyed Trick or Treating for the first time -- we went to about 4-5 houses.  After each house he wanted to sit in the driveway of that house and check out his loot...

Going next door to Pat & Lloyd's, note that he is out of there once he gets the candy...I think that was the moment he understood what trick or treating was, and so he was ready to move on to the next house and get more candy!
The last house of the night -- Jeremy & Anna's to see their sweet baby girl (she will one day will be Anders' neighborhood playmate)...

Halloween with Grammie & Papa

While Grammy & Papa were here I took HUNDREDS of pictures, because I so badly wanted a great picture of Anders with my parents.  These are the best I got, and unfortunately there isn't even ONE with them all looking at the camera smiling.  For this photo shoot I thought everyone looked great, just couldn't get Anders to smile...
Anders NOT wanting to pose for the picture, he much rather go up and down the stairs...
This is the BEST one, enjoy...
Anders sneezing in Papa's face, quite funny!
Of coarse, when does Anders smile?  When there is a gutter and yellow flags in the background...

Franklin Fall Festival

While Grammie & Papa were visiting, we ventured down to the Franklin Fall Festival (it was CRAZY crowed).  Here are some pictures from the near-by park...
Walking across the wooden bridge, so adventurous...
Going down the slide with Mommy...
Playing the drums with Papa...
Love this picture of Anders & my mom...

Some morning fun...

Anders loves climbing in and out of the storage ottomans in our family room.  Just the other day he pulled himself to the top of one and stood up -- he was smiling and so proud of himself, it was SO cute!
Taking a break to read a book...
Then off to paint -- Anders needed to create artwork for Sarah Holley's birthday and Uncle Chip's birthday...then he made a couple more pieces for Haley & Grammie and Papa.  He then picked which masterpiece went to which person...I am still waiting for the piece of artwork for MOMMY!  Since it was fall time, Anders finger-painted pumpkins -- please appreciate the hand-mixed orange that I created...yes there was no orange in our paint colors, so I had to get creative myself...

Our little MONKEY

Anders was a monkey for Halloween, and I MUST say that he makes a VERY cute monkey!  I put his costume on him earlier in the week to get him used to it and to make sure that it fit.   He kept laughing at himself in the mirror, and then I showed him his monkey tail and he laughed more...it was too funny!

Halloween photo shoot...

Another day at the gym...

My Mom & Dad got to go to Anders "My Gym" class for the first time and see what it is all about.  Here  Anders is doing a handstand (which he is EXCELLENT at doing)...
Walking across the swinging bridge...
Bouncing on the trampoline all by himself & then with Grammie too...

Sitting in the circle for the closing songs...

Random pictures with Mommy & Daddy

I can't believe I am posting these lovely pictures of my greasy, morning hair -- but Anders was being so sweet and having so much fun holding my face and giving kisses...
Anders LOVES his airplane (it used to be Haley's) -- he loves pushing all the buttons on the plane and we hear the songs over & OVER...Todd now "flies" him around the room, which is too much fun!  In the first picture Anders is serious about his piloting, then he relaxes and is having fun!

Anders' First Haircut

We took Anders to Snip It's for his first haircut.  I wanted him to leave with just a trimmed-up, but still shaggy hair style.  But he got more cut off than planned.  It took me SEVERAL days to get used to his new do, but now I really do love the look on him.  I think Anders even missed his hair for several days, because he kept pulling on his short locks like he was hoping it would grow if he pulled hard enough.

Here he is SUCH a big boy sitting in his chair and ready for his haircut...(note: he didn't cry or pitch a fit at all, so impressive!)
All spiked up and ready to chop...
 Cutting...
 and cutting...
And cutting even more...
After his haircut was complete, Anders got a prize from the machine...a yellow rubber duckie!
