Sweet Daddy & Baby pics

Tonight we decided to come home early from running errands because it started snowing again and we didn't want to get stuck out on the roads. We have a long list of things to do around the house but chose to be lazy instead and it's been wonderful. Anders & Todd had some sweet snuggle time...

First SNOW day

So it snowed today & we got only a half an inch of snow - so no snowmen or snow ball fights this time. But we have a huge ice patch at the end of our drive way which caused us to miss our house and turn around down the street to try again. It has continued to snow more tonight so we might have more coverage by morning.

Final Christmas pictures

We didn't take any family pictures during Christmas Eve or Christmas so several days later we finally took several pictures in front of the perfect Christmas setting at Mom & Dad's house --

While at Big Canoe, we took a couple hikes on the trails in the area but on this walk we just went up and down Mom & Dad's street and that was enough of a work out...

Christmas Day and then the rest of our time in GA

Then things changed and our Christmas was a hard one -- Anders got sick with a high fever and we spent most of the day & evening in the emergency room. It was NOT fun and both Todd and I were emotional through out the day while watching Anders not feel well. We got back home a little after 11pm and sat down to eat our Christmas dinner just before the day was officially over (I think we started taking our first bites at 11:59pm)! But after several days Anders was his happy self again, laughing and talking (he found his voice and he's loud)!

Christmas Part 2

Then we headed down to GA, first to Lilburn for Christmas Eve with everyone (I don't have many pictures from Christmas Eve, still need to get them off Dad's camera -- I was taking video not pictures). We had a wonderful time with sweet memories of Anders falling asleep in Michael's lap, Haley dancing in front of the Christmas tree while wearing only her white tights and Anders unwrapping presents at his first Christmas. Once I get the pictures & learn how to post video clips, you will see all those things too but for now here are a couple shots...
