Today we had our first ultrasound at 20 weeks and found out we are having a BOY! We both were surprised and very excited. During the ultrasound we saw many angles and views of the brain, heart, arms, legs, mid-section and spine. He was moving around
ALOT therefore it was difficult to get certain shots. The
technician tried so hard to get a profile view for us -- she poked & pushed on my stomach to try to get him to move into a better position, but we never got to see one. The picture below shows him with his fist up by his face and body to the left...

Below was one of the first images Todd & I saw of him (and was the moment we knew clearly "it" was now a "him") and we were having a boy!

After the doctor appointment, we went on a lunch date & shopped at Green Hills Mall to look for nursery ideas and boy outfits...after much debate between a stuffed lion or monkey, we came home with a lion. And the only other purchase was a name book to help inspire us to find a boy name that we love!
Kirsten and Todd,
ReplyDeleteCongratulations! I know you are excited and that you will have many fun times preparing for your new arrival. May God richly bless you and your baby.
With much love,
Joy Gross
I can't wait to start buying little blue outfits! Hopefully I will make it out shopping before I see you tomorrow night! Love you both... and my nephew-to-be!
