Trip to the TN Aquarium

While driving Todd to the airport on Wednesday afternoon, we found out that the weekend shows were being cancelled -- so after one show he was back home.  Since we had a wide-open weekend, we decided to head out Friday morning to Chattanooga to the aquarium.  We had been wanting to take Anders there for a while now and thought it would be a fun family outing.  Anders was excited, but kept thinking he was going to see dolphins and whales.  My mistake...I told him that he would see all the animals that live in water.

 We spent a lot of time watching the fish, sharks, sting rays & turtles in the big ocean tank...

The day was long & exhausting, but really fun!

Grandma's Visit

A couple weeks ago Grandma came to visit.  

We headed down to the playground and Larsen had her first ride on the swings...

 We went to Chick-fila and Anders traded in his kid's-meal prize for ICECREAM...

 And we went to the zoo.  The weather was beautiful, and it was so fun getting back to the zoo!

Anders likes to go upstairs with me to get Larsen, and he often wants to get in the crib with her.  This is typically what happens...

Pretty in PURPLE

So much for winter weather and playing in the snow this year...the flowers are blooming and more are popping thru.  As much as I wanted snow, being able to get outside and play is wonderful.  

Since Larsen is wearing purple today, she just had to have a photo shoot out front with the blooming crocuses...
